Available for collection from Assington, Suffolk

Often known as Cox apple. The classic English apple - often regarded as the finest of all dessert apples. The rich aromatic flavour and crisp, juicy texture sets this apple apart. Medium sized fruit with orange-red thin skin. Perhaps not the easiest variety to grow, prefers a loam, sandy or clay soil with a good warm temperature to crop well.  Always a good choice for a small orchard.
